By using this website you agree to be legally bound by these terms.

• PassCode Driving School may change these terms at any time. You are bound by the current version of these terms.

Your Responsibility

• Your instructor reserves the right to refuse to provide you with tuition or to cancel any lessons you have booked, if you fail to provide him / her with the appropriate licence prior to your first lesson.
• You and your instructor are responsible for arranging the dates, time, duration and pick up points for your lessons.
• If you wish to cancel, re-arrange or postpone a lesson you must give 48 hours’ notice. Failure to do this will result in you being charged the full amount for the duration of the lesson that you booked.
• Failure to attend a booked lesson will result in you being charged the full amount for the duration of the lesson.

Driving Lessons

• You must hold a current, valid Provisional, Full or International Licence and produce it on your first driving lesson as well as be legally entitled to drive.
• You must be Aged 17 and over (16 and over if disabled and in receipt of Mobility Allowance at the higher rate).
• You must be fit to drive with regards to legal and medical requirements.
• Passcode Driving School operates a strict No Smoking Policy within the training vehicle.
• PassCode Driving School will provide the pupil with a dual controlled car in a clean, road worthy and tidy conditions.
• All Block Bookings must be paid for in full to receive the discount.
• All Block Booking Offers of 10 Lessons MUST be completed within two months, & all other offers must be finished within a month of the payment.
• All Introductory Special Offers are limited to one per pupil and must be paid for in full at the first lesson.

Your Driving Instructor

• PassCode instructors abide by an equal opportunity policy and will not discriminate on any basis including but not limited to race, colour, creed, gender, sexual orientation.
• PassCode Instructors cannot be held responsible for lesson cancellations due to mechanical breakdowns, but would try to find a replacement vehicle as soon as possible.
• All PassCode instructors will be smartly presented and behave in a professional manner at all times.
• All of our instructors are licensed by the Driving Standards Agency to undertake business as driving instructors and are CRB checked.
• PassCode cannot be held responsible for any monies paid directly to the instructor, as this creates a contract between the pupil and the instructor.
• PassCode instructor has the right to withdraw the PassCode tuition car for the day of your driving test if, in the instructors’ opinion you are not deemed to be at the required standard to attempt your driving test.
• You will be supplied with your instructor’s telephone number for future communications following initial booking.

Gift Vouchers

On purchasing Gift vouchers over the phone or online, you will receive the vouchers entitling the holder to driving lessons with a PassCode driving instructor. All vouchers should be used within 2 months of purchase. Your Lessons can be taken in 1 hour or 2 hours slots at a time. Please allow 2-3 working days for delivery of gift vouchers by post.

Cancellations

• Unless 48 hours’ notice is given, any lesson cancellations will be charged at your current lesson rate.
• Your PassCode instructor has the right to withdraw the PassCode tuition car on the day of your driving test if it’s in the instructor’s opinion that the candidate is not deemed to be of the required test standard.
• PassCode Driving School cannot be held responsible for lesson cancellations due to mechanical breakdowns, but would try to find a replacement vehicle as soon as possible.
• PassCode Driving School cannot be held responsible for driving test postponement by the Driving Vehicle Standard Agency (DVSA) due to bad weather, sickness, staff shortages or other reasons. These cancellations are beyond the control of your instructor and therefore the lesson fee and ‘use of car’ fee for the test period will be charged. Your instructor will advise you about claiming compensation from the DSA.
